They have been returning to Shreveport from a little duck looking lake around Lake Charles, Louisiana, within a Grumman Mallard plane without any deicing technique. The wings iced up on approach to landing in Shreveport, and also the aircraft dropped altitude. Among the wings strike cypress stumps along with the airplane crashed towards the shore.
